I'm a newbie!

I would like to grow my own. It's difficult though because I live with my grandparents and I'm terrified that they will clean my room and find my crop.

What I had planned on doing was growing it in a flower pot in my closet. Can it be done?

Please help.
Give me pointers.

It can be done but you need a light on it for about
18 hours a day. It will also smell depending on the
strain and apart from that you will have to make
sure you buy feminised seeds or get a clone from
a female plant otherwise you could be wasting your
time with it all if your only growing a few.
What type of light will you be using.?
You are aware you need specialist lighting that can
crank up the electricity bill.?

I think your better off finding a place in some woods
or a hedge, ie grow outside. IMHO.

Choppers frequently fly over my backyard and in my hills..because there are a few growers up my hollow.

I don't feel comfortable growing outside in fear of that..and my grandfather mowing the lawn and spotting it.


Are there any safe places outside to grow?

Some people grow them among Tomato plants or
stinging nettles - anything dense that resembles
the marijuana plant. Best of luck..............

..so behind shrubbery, in like..a lava rock sort of setting?

Some strains can grow tall anything from
1' to 6', so you will have to prune it if it
gets out of hand.
I really advise you do some more research
on it all, it's not as easy as you might think.
You have to wait for a full season for it to
grow then you still have to wait even longer
for it to flower (bud). As you can't smoke
any of it until then.

Getting desparate = Getting caught.
Take your time. You don't have to grow it at your grandparents.
Thats just rude. Take a nice long walk around town. You'd be
amazed at the little nooks and crannys there are that people
go by every day and never really notice. I once grew a plant 1
block from the police station in a very small town and noone ever
knew it. Find at least 3 good places, to make sure you get at least
one female.Kill the males, don't want them pollinating the girls.
Tend them at night, water, nutrients and so on. You would really
be suprised what you can grow behind some bushes. Don't let it get
taller than the surrounding vegitation and you should be fine.
It also gives you a reason to get a little extra exersize. Walking is good
for the heart. Walking to your pot plants is good for your soul.
