does anyone know what this is?? if it's anything?? i heard somewhere that the eclectic religion is when someone takes teachings and beliefs from all different kinds of religions, to form their own kind of belief. anyone know if this is true? or exactly what it means??

welll i don't think anyone "forms" their own beelif system...they usually read and learn about others and discover something usually...then well...kinda have what they have...
i would sort of fit in this catergory, cept i never formed my own beelifs [but i was never affiliated before]...i took baha'i, but then i could never beleive that the founder and its prophet guy were a Manifestation, so i kinda went off...

Everyone has their own interpretations of god/numen, even if they are part of an organized religion, and this interpretation will differ from basically everyone else's interpretations. That's all the word eclectic means; that people take ideas from all kinds of places (some ideas more than others) and blend them together to believe in a unique concept that nobody else believes exactly the same.
