forums gathering!!!

As we had posted on the old forums,,,, We are having a forums, family gathering the first week of July , 2004....

Yes we know it is also the week of nationals, however many can not make it that far west so we are havin one here in the kudzu patch.....

We are located in central north georgia just off the appalachain trail and the cohutta wilderness.....


that being said,,, we hope anyone and everyone can put all differences aside and come spend a day or two or a week with us, angelgodiva and hubby who will also be here the entire week... boooooooooooooooshnoogs who will be here atleast part of the time, and i still believe sweatin in the south and family,,,,, so come on out to the kuzduz patch n get lost in it with us for a bit :)




directions...


we are in central north Ga, gilmer county,,, find a map and get to ellijay or chatsworth:P

you will be coming into the kudzu patch off of Ga state route 52



from ellijay

From ellijay you will take 52 west about 5 miles out of town (at approximately 3 miles you will see new hope grocery on the right) pass mile marker 8 Gates Chapel road will be on the right. turn onto gates chapel and go about a mile to mile and a half, you will pass pickett mill subdivision on the left and then dover falls on the right, Zion hill road is on the right directly after dover falls subdiv.. follow Zion hill for about a mile or there abouts, ,, on the right hand side will be douglas mountain trail,,,,(dirt road) follow the main trail up to the left will be paved drive but contnue on up the hill to top,,, where the nasty sign sayin no trespassin , no turn around, no parking etc, veer to the left and go thru the gates and continue following this path (errrrrr trail) on up to the homestead ...



Again from chatsworth you will be coming in on Ga state route 52 east... continue east on 52 for approx 15 miles. pass mile marker 9 and sumners grading and hauling on left... Gates chapel road is on the left just before mile marker 8.... hey dilli and hippiehillbilly.... we'll probably pop in for a day but most likely won't be able to stay overnite, as I got a job a few weeks ago and can't take any time off just yet.....so, my time is pretty sparse these days.

Will you still be roastin' a piggy? where has hillbilly been? haven't seen him in here much lately??

I was talking to Sam a while back and she said she really wanted to come but animal problems got in the way, one of her younguns broke his leg.

Oh, I would love to meet you too, Claire, and so many of the UK folks...you are so lucky to live so close to one another. This country is so freaking huge we never get to all meet like that. One of my lifelong dreams is to make it to England, though, and when I do, I'll time it for one of your gatherings. You are one of the sweetest people on the boards.

working om it got get the camper fixs ( the roof got a fer hole's in it I just got this one just for road trip like this I hope I can pull it off I am just 4 hrs away from there I try like hell to make it but you know how that go

Im thinking this might be a good option to the nationals as I was not long ago sitting near mt shasta kickin it with some youngsters and the dam police started to mess with folks and so I said fuck this and all the bs and the nationals and
thought the ga gathering might be the better way to go.

oops! this aint hippy its dilli ...

being my first gathering experience in the rainbow/hippy sort of sense ,,, i found it very enlightening and interesting even though it was very small... may not be a bad way to get more into the whole rainbow thing in the long run now that i think upon it...

it brought a sense of peace to me even though things at times were chaotic,,, the intermingling of all our souls is a neat thing and the vibe that true people bring is a great feeling... each person brings something to it all... and one can choose to take what they wish away with them... i personally learned alot even though there were few here and i spose the neat thing bout it was that the majority of the folks here were not from this forum at all and just sort of showed up from nowhere,,, yet we gathered and had a good learning expereince and it enriched my life a plenty,,, the good witch rainbowed me ;) ... bob taught me bout edible and not edible shrooms and also what i dont ever wish to become ... my hhb showed me his true inner core of himself and what the rainbow family has meant to him all these years and i saw a spirit in him that i aint seen in a long time,,, angelmomma showed me that nothing can stop one from what they believe in doing even if it means discomfort and maybe even a bit of embarrassment and still shine thru it all,,,, sunshine ,, has this amazing aura about her and her rainbow tag is truly in every sense of the word true,,, ,, many paths showed me many a thing as well thru his speaches and rants n ramblings and even though we dont always agree we can agree to disagree,,,, the ???? guest,,, well ,,, him i dont surely know what to say other than he is a mighty fine hooman bean and has been a great plus to have around us for an extended period of time,,, had me a thought the other nite bout him and often find myself wondering just exactly what he was sent here for,,,, i feel i know and others here are maybe starting to see that as well and like someone else that bounced into my life a while ago,,, seems to me to be a sorta angel without his wingz.......
free spirit aka ghandi i cant quite describe ,,, he is a true soul and hope to keep him and wendel in our family round here for many A time to come .....

as for me,,, well guess i finally know why all those years ago i got a lil rainbow tattooed on my arm,,,,,,, something that over the years i have sort of come to realize but now has been firmly planted in my brain as to the reasoning,,, ,,, now maybe after many a year i have family,,,,
