is it possible to live the rainbow lifestyle 100% of the time?yes, I know many that do. And no, you don't have to live in a commune...

The rainbow lifestyle is moving place to place, a commune is a place where people live together in one spot...

what is a rainbow lifestyle to you? What is it that you think it is about?

Rainbow is free. Wherever and however you make it. As long as you harm no one and nothing.

The rainbow lifestyle is moving place to place,

Not at all. You can life the life anywhere, pretty much. It's about how you approach life, how you treat others, how you react to "emergencies" and "disasters". How you understand that miracles really do happen. How you know that you are connected to the One, sometimes in ways that are hard to understand at the time, but then you figure it out, and it's an "Ah-HA!" moment. How you understand the Vision, which is something you just have to experience at a rainbow gathering.

I have been hearing lots of talk about jah. What is the story behind all that?
Jah is the Rastafari way of referring to Jahovah, another word for a deity.
Others may be able to give you more and better info than I, who am more into the goddess energy, and actually *bristle*, every time I hear a *masculine* name for a deity.

Actually, if you really want to get down to it, I don't even believe in a deity; I do, however, believe in All That Is, that synchronicities are part of an ever-happening design that changes with our intentions, and that a male-dominated world isn't good for children and other living creatures.
Not that I'm into female domination either -- I just try to raise consciousness in this area.

I think, to get back to Jah, the reason that hippies find Jah so fascinating, is that the Rastifari smoke weed, it's part of their religion! They're the black brothers with the sometimes floor-length dreads and the black/yellow/green colors. You'll probably see some at a rainbow gathering. I think they're the ones who created the word "spleef".

Jah is not a word strictly for rastifarians. In the old testiment of the bible god was referred to as Jehovah. Jah means Jehovah and is another name for the Lord. The word "Hallelujah" is actually "Alleluia." The words mean "praise ye Jah".
