Hey guys, I'm new here (obviously) and just wanted to talk to some fellow smokers about some bad news I received today...My 2 smokin' buddies are quitting. I mean I'm totally supportive of there decision if they want to "exit this realm" so-to-speak, but still....Gettin' high will never be the same again without em'. I mean all 3 of us clicked together so well when we were high, and when we weren't high as well. We all had the same understanding of the way we percive things when we're high though....Like a unified conciousness, but now..It could be gone forever. We'll still remain great friends of course, but I think any fellow smoker woulkd understand my agony in this particular situation.

Always a sad day.........

They'll be back :X :X :X

Seriously, when people say the are goin to quit forever, and they are teens/20somethings, they never do, they'll get drunk at a party and end up smokin a bowl or somethin. Now, quitting for a period of time, I.E. what Takemenow and the rest (New Saturday morning cartoon?) are doing, can easily come to fruitition as there is a motive, a goal, and an obvious reward at the end.

Just like soap opera's, nobody is ever gone forever.

Unless these guys feel it is in their better interest to quit. It would be bad to secretly wish for them to come back, putting out those negetive vibes when what they are doing in quitting is good for them. If they come back, fine, but it's best to just assume they won't.

Well, and if you read my first post then you should know that I said I was supportive of their decision it's just that it's gonna suck smoking without them that's all. Also, I think anybody in my situation would secretely wish for them to come back just because you love all of the memories so much and want to relive them.

They're quitting because they're tired of spending money on it etc. Which I could somewhat understand but I think they don't even want to smoke even if there's no cost to it anymore. At least one of them i know is like this, but...God I wished that they'd come back.

theyll come back. There will be some way they can get money and not spend it all on weed, or one night theyll be drunk and someone will offer to smoke. No drunk stoner can pass that up.

I hade a friend that quit smoking pot, and she was the first person I ever toked up with. It’s hard but you just have to deal with it, and support their decision.
