I know theres was alot rock throwing awhile back and it all started with the reliability of InsideSun, so I thought I would share my current order status with you. On 2-15-05 I ordered a 400 hsp from InsideSun VIA the internet. On 2-16-05 I sent a money order. On 2-22-05 I recieved an acknowledgment of recieved payment & a tracking number. So far so good:)

people seem to forget my point of view
yet continue to act like i'm some sort of monster
if i have the money to buy a light today
i want that light in my hand today.
i cant afford to lose two-three weeks downtime.
waiting for ups to get here.
Im sure your light will get there and im sure you will be happy with it.
they work exellent from what i hear.
myself, as soon as i get $450.00 saved up im off to my hydro store to get a sunsystem 800 watt dual spectrum. my quote on it was 444 so actually i'll be paying 222 for each 400 watt system.
The 430 meangreen sent me burned out last week. He said it gave him 4 years of solid service. I used it for 8 months straight myself.
So figure five years .
It is a 180 dollar model from advancedindoor.
the ballast was a sola.
I plan on growing the rest of my life
Im going to be real to the point
and try not to sound insulting- that is not my objective.
I will however fight for my right to voice my opinion and to hell with anyone who does not think i have a right to an opinion.

IM NOT going to buy eqipment that might only last 5-10 years when i can find equipment that will last 10 to 20 years. If i upgrade to new equipment im gonna get only the best because im very serious about growing the rest of my life i been planning this most of my life and im getting only the best.I dont want to spend my upgrade money, replacing lights five years from now.Bulbs and soil are expensive enough thank you!

AND if im going to grow the best pot i can find, i want to use the best lights i can find.
Im sure your inside sun light will do fine
Im sure curious how many people have both an inside sun system
and a sunsystem or hydrofarm light.
to compare the differences.
I would not buy a light online period. NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE or who it is from.
Im not dumb.
the feds are trying desperately to thwart the medical cannabis world.
My caregiver suggested not buying any supplies out of state online.
because the fed are now trying to nail us for interstate transport of our hydro supplies.
because they cannot legally bust us for growing cannabis- they are trying to find any way they can to mess with our worlds. you know how they do it.
I figure I'll just stay away from getting supplies online period.
So i do have a tendacy to be opinionated about online suppliers.
I have nothing against mike.

Amen buddy,if ya got the money get the masserati and fuck the vw.If a light/ballist lasts 5 years as the one I gave ya, you are doing well!I seriuosly doubt inside supplies anything that will compare let alone shitty service.I personelly have never ordered anything from him for good reason,CHEAP is what the most of his equipment is and if I want crap I will go out and clean the backyard or fetch one some from the toilet!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just does not make sense to buy cheap shit as lighting is your number 2 investment next to genetics.To each their own!!

Id say inside sun maybe got a little financial backing and might just do alright this year.
I know from experience it is a mutha of a struggle trying to juggle funds and do biz online. sounds like he got it worked out though from the details im getting.

for your information
i am getting three more lights this year sometime.
two 800 watt duals.and a 1000 watt metal halide.
i was price checking, and contemplating going with inside sun on the halide.
I noticed he has hydrofarm.
but to get a 600 watt radiant he wants 480 dollars.
i spent 500 on my radiant ballasts, with daystar a/c hoods.
so for twenty dollars more and 10 bucks gas i had mine in hand with air cooling to boot.
im pretty sure i got a quote of on a 1,000 watt halide from my hydro store
insidesun wants 190 for one without a/c.
if i were in a basement i could use it.
but im in a trailer in the desert. I must run a/c.
Im gonna go look at mikes cool tubes
but if they are over 220

it would cost 350 to go with a/c from inside sun on a 1,000 watt cooltube and inside sun system.
i can get a hydrofarm supergrow wing for 359
and i get a 20% discount at the store.
so like 325 out the door for a super grow wing 1,000 watt MH
im thinkin it was 389 for a daystar a/c 1000 watt mh.350 0ut the door after discount.

I was gonna try getting the hid at insidesun, but without a/c it is pretty much useless to me.
this summer im gonna have to run a 13,500 btu a/c unit with 340 cfm as it is.

how is that light doing?
If i did not have to run air cooled lights, I would probably try getting the 1000 w halide there. But I have to have a/c, and because of the medical grower thing I really shouldn't get any supplies outside of california. Transport issues if you do ,from what i hear. So im actually safer to drive to my hydro store, and that is a big part of it for me.
I noticed mike has the hydrofarm stuff now- his site is much better now.
But for the system Im getting from coca's, it is cheaper for me to get it there.

Anyone run one of those hortilux blue's yet? Im thinkin of trying the 1,000 watt blue halide. It is actually the fullest spectrum bulb i have seen yet.
HEY lumpy: the perpetual soil grow is back in action, Thank you so much for teachin me the perpetual shuffle. I started 47 plants 3 weeks ago, sexing as we speak- mostly female so far. Switched them to 18/6 a few days ago. Now im planting almost all of the old seeds from before- the ones i got the mutant afghani ,and thai from.So these will be 30 days behind the others. The mutant lives in clone form still- cannot replace it by seed so im reverting the last cutting of that, with the seedlings on 18/6 ,even as we speak.That is the best sativa ever- a rare afghani, very sweet, skunky,juicy,fruity,afghani. Thanks for suggesting i keep her in clone form lumpy- she is stonier than the best indicas, a true wondergirl. the "mutants being more potent" thing may be partly responsible for this stonyness.
aside from the genetic potency inherent to afghani- this ones a mindblower.

My chamber veg chamber is finished, complete with 154 cfm intake/exhaust fans and the 325 watt dual hood i made . 80 cfm for curculation in a 2 x 4.5 area. five foot tall too.
The budroom is 6 x6 x7.5 and doing wonderful. Im adding 1,000 watts of halide to my 1200 w of hps . I figure i'll run the halide and one sodium for vegging and during the last month of flowering {after preflower stretch} turning on the other 600 hps.

Why dont you order a light in a hood that has the glass shield...you can bring in outside air into the hood...then exhaust it...it would give off alot less heat into the space!

thats what i run is daystar a/c hoods, with a 6" vent flange at each end.
600 w, 9" from the canopy -they rage bro.
the ballast im getting this time, is a radiant Halide, with the 8 year warranty.
Add a top of the line full spectrum bulb.
total $390.00
1/2 OF my current crop was grown under 1,200 watts of sodium
1/2 of the current crop was grown under 325 watts of mixed spectrum.
the ones under mixed spectrum look better, in every way possible..
this halide will cause my entire budroom to have mixed spectrum now.
I am very exited about my first 1,000 watt lighting purchase..
The past year i been running veg on a 175 watt halide . L.O.L..{ NOW IN THE DUAL}

Im running a 309 eliecient 6" fan for three daystar A/C hoods, two 600W sodiums, and the new daystar A/C with 1,000 watts halide.
I got the standard bulb, since im mixing spectrums anyhow,and got out the door with it for 371.91, after my 20% discount And Ca sales taxes.
