a ph question....

I'm using a hydro kit that recomends a ph of 5.5,
I thought pot grew best at a neutral ph of 7.0 ?

Cannabis likes the ph to be slightly on the acidic side so if you keep it between 5.5 and 6.5 you'll be fine.

from what i understand the optimum ph is a bit different from soil to hydro

Soil grower here......I shoot for just under 7. I thought that was optimal...but im no expert.

I was wondering about that.(difference between the two)
I have it closer to 6 right now
and they seem to be doing fine.
Growing like little weeds you might say.(hehe!)
