Grow Session #2: Northern lights,Shiva skunk,California Orange Bud

This is my second grow session, my first grow was going good till my girlfriend killed my crop. she shut my closet door. :( but hey its ok i was only 3 weeks from harvesting....


Northern Lights:
Northern Lights is highly adapted to indoor growing. Nearly all promising modern indoor strains contain NL genes. High flower to leaf ratio, compact buds, good yields and exceptional resin production are all characteristics displayed by this wonderful plant. Northern Lights is a most lucrative plant for the indoor grower. The smoke is full bodied yet somewhat neutral in flavor.


- PLANT HEIGHT : Short plant
- STONED OR HIGH : Stoned Indica
- THC LEVEL : high level but not sure what %.....
- FLOWERING PERIOD: 8/9 weeks
- YIELD : 500g



Shiva Skunk:
This strain is named after Shiva, Hindu god of transformation. Shiva has genetics from India giving it a pungent Eastern spicy aroma. Shiva is a bushy plant with good yield and quality. Shiva is vigorous and pest resistant making it a good choice for the less experienced grower. Shiva has an exotic flavour and produces a heavy stone.

- THC LEVEL : high level but yet again im not sure what %......
- FLOWERING PERIOD : 8/9 weeks
- YIELD : 500g



California Orange Bud:
California Orange Bud is a variety with a wonderful sweet orange aroma and an extra sweet taste. With good care it will produce a heavy crop of very good quality. California Orange Bud is one of the easier varieties to clone and cultivate under a variety of conditions. Buds are covered in bright orange and deep pink hairs. Orange Bud is a wonderful selection for the experienced and less experienced grower as well.



- PLANT HEIGHT : medium plant
- STONDE OR HIGH : high sativa
- THC LEVEL : high 16.5%
- FLOWERING PERIOD : 9/10 weeks
- YIELD : 500g








2/14 - germinated seeds (8) Northern Lights
- put soil into containers (Watered heavily)
- under 2 (250 watt heat lights)
- and for those who think that they dont work your wrong!!!
- i have done it a few times and its has worked every time.
- 1 fan on lights (circulating), 1 fan on floor towards plants (circulating)


2/18 - planted seeds (5) NL
- sprayed with water
- under 2 lights, will turn on a third when plants sprout up
- under 2 fans
- 1 humidifier
- germinated seeds Shiva skunk (6) California Orange bud (1)

I just watered the babbies and i noticed that they are starting to break through the soil, :) but i check the seeds that i germineat ed the other night and they are goin to be planted tomorrow.. oh yeah and i have sum bad news The California Orange Bud seed didnt germinate....hmmm i dont know why but its was starting to grow mold around the outer shell....would ne 1 happen to know why???? b_O420

When i woke up this morning i noticed that all five of my N.L. plants were sprouting :) , and then i planted the S.K. (6 of 6 germinated) , so hopefully out of my 11 plants i get around 2 - 3 girls from the N.L. and 3 - 4 from the S.K....i am trying to post pics but its not lettign me if anyone can help me plzzzzzzzzzzzz do so.....b_O420

Good news everyone all of my seeds except the California Orange Bud have started to grow! so i have eleven .......hopefully atleast 5 or 6 of them are females. I turned on another light today so now i have 750 watts runnign in there! in about 2 - 3 weeks i will turn on another.......but i am gointo be having sum construction to my grow room..... i am goin to add 3 new vents. 2 goin to outside and i in coming from my room ( remember my plants are in my closet ).
i am only goin to open 1 of the outside vents for exhaust and open the one inside for ventalation..(dont worry i am a non-smoker, except weed).. when it gets warmer i am goin to open both of my outside vents and close the inside vents.....does this sound liek a good idea to you.........? but i also have sum bad news, for sum stupid fucking reason my computer wont post pix on this site or on the net for that matter.....if you knwo what i can do plz help..........b_O420

The reason might be that your photos arent in correct format, check the properties to see if they are on the list of validized otherwise they might be too large. Thats all I can say to help out. I had bmp, and I had to switch them to jpeg, or jpg. So that may be your problem. Check it out, and see if it works.

ok thanx, but i am no longer on the grow.......i think that it was the soil, i had sum kind of miracle grow soil and i think that it was to much for just seedlings....i purchased that at walmart and then earlier today i went out to a nursery and bought sum organic soil, so i think that i will have success with the organic soil...i planted 6 more SHIVA SKUNK today so they shoudl be popping out of the soil within a few days......b_O420

Try using photobucket.com and then link them form there. That's what I do.
