Hi all,
Well I was there and it was a searingly unforgettable climb up the mountain and some totally astonishing times wandering around the meadows afterwards. I never attended another rainbow event but I will certainly never forget that one! I don't recall seeing a single camera but there was a fellow named Nathan who did hike up an 8mm. I stumbled across his site the other day and he and his wife Shelli recently completed a digitalization of the old 8mm footage, plus some color slides taken at the event by a fellow Shelli figures is dead. I was looking at the outtakes and recognized my brother hiking by and was on the phone placing my order within the day. The site is here; http://www.woodstockmuseum.com/1st_rainbow.html and Shelli said something about them entering it in a film festival this year. Best of luck Shelli and Nathan!
