National Gathering Location?

I heard that the national gathering may take place on the east coast this year, possibly in pennsylvania? is this true? please please please say it is! It's been soooooo far away the last few years and I really want to finally go this year.

i think its somewhere in arizona or nevada.....but i could be wrong....i might have read the e-mail wrong....theres a e-mail list you can get put on if you want to know more about all that....

It will be the east coast I've heard but not pennsylvania(there was one there not that long ago)... I heard Vermont, the carolinas, tennessee I think...? No one knows for sure and we won't have a better idea until they scout and then announce it. For now its all just rumors and it could be anywhere I guess, lol.

I'm confused myself. Thing is, if a permit is signed *before* the gathering begins, if it is clear that this is the way things will go, I'm not sure how many folks will show up. Which brings up the idea of having a national somewhere else, like in the Ozarks, which I heard happened last year.

Re the 'normal' ways of doing things, some folks are in northern North Carolina now. These are the same who always seem to decide where the gathering will be. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but permit signing is.
