well actually, a virus -could- be created! haha but trying to expand it to humans and animals is just wrong caus too much death is involved in trying to make that work, and it is a plant gene so although it can be put across, it would probably be best not to.

haha i asked my biology teacher if it would be possible to put a certain chemical into a plant, and she said theoretically its really simple, you just have to get the plant cells to accept the dna...we actually did that with ecoli, all we did was heat shock it to accept this plasmid...and after it the bacteria glowed!!

i agreeYEAH i agree, if we have the technology and know how to clone things, isolate dna, travel in space, etc. i surely think we make grass, or whatever else genetically produce THC. i mean come on now, that ought to be pie compared to some of the things we can do now.....

Even if you got everyday plants to produce thc, you have to realize that the majority of plants growing in your backyard would probably taste like shit if smoked. Have you ever smoked actual "grass", I would imagine its pretty bad because even if grass produced thc, you would never eliminate that grass taste. The THC might mask it, but that nasty weed taste would still be there.
