No, you don't touch the apple. You will touch whatever object fits to the description of an apple.

It's interesting to realize that you have no reality ("territory") in your mind, actually when you're thinking about the World it's all just a fixed sensory-emotional packets binded and organized onto a symbolic map.

When you're going to use the mouse, whatever you will touch has the qualities of an object of class "mouse" and you interact with it like learned from previous interaction with objects "mouse". This system "recognition+interaction" (map) works perfectly but you never know what "mouse" refers to in essence (territory).

Well... just ramblin'

nah, i didnt coin those phrases.

there in a book called prometheus rising, which talks a lot about semantics and stuff like that.
