I don't like my world, I'm burnt out on it
My dream, the american dream
Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll
Has shunned me and sucked me dry
My mind's eye is blind to what I see
And my blissfull haze prevents me from coming clean

I've tried to change, I've fallen down
I've tried to die, I've dropped out
I've been trapped, I'm in doubt

I don't know why, I have no reason
Just something I must write, something to believe in

Myself.

i like it. honesty is always better than being uplifting-in my opinion. as long as you put yourself on the paper that's all that matters.
