Here's a good idea, for anybody that is part of a small or large group of friends... or just people in general.

Instead of spending the day off chugging beer and cooking dead animals over the barbeque,,
why not take over the globe instead ?~?!

HEAR 's the plan,
and it's really easy, but for some reason the smartest people in the world haven't been able to figure it out.
All you have to do is get at least two dozen people together in a major metropolitan area.
Get an up to date map of the area.
Plot a course so that each of the "participants" will each have their own Zone to work,, not too big, not to small.
Am I going to fast
Ok,
then each of the people in your organization spreads out across the city, then at whatever time YOU designate...
everybody starts pressing those big red buttons outside of each and every gas station that reads:
EMERGENCY SHUT-OFF

It's that simple.
It's not illegal.
NOBODY would be hurt or injured.
NOBODY would die.

Most of the Shut-Off switches CANNOT be turned back on by the clerk or the store manager. A technician has to be called to each location to investigate the reason the pumps were shut off,, there are very few of theese technicians available.
Normally, when a shut-off valve is "activated" it takes 12-16 hours before the store can pump gas again.
Especially if there was some kind of problem reported with the activation of this wonderfull safety device.

I've landed in the middle of nowhere, kinda,
especially when it comes to being associated with a group of people... or two dozen friends that were willing to go out and DO SOMETHING.

Or why don't you do something constructive instead of destructive, find a hobby for goodness sakes!

Why don't you take your own advice?

I suppose your one of the ones whom think they now everything about me! Now aren't we?

I don't know anything about you, besides the essentials.

Tamee

I didnīt.

But tell me how this post might possibly be constructive.

Or why don't you do something constructive instead of destructive, find a hobby for goodness sakes!

Thats because we're smarter than that!
What are you living in the 80's?????? Shutting down a city's functions is surely an act of terrorism these days!!! You'd be lucky not to be prosicuted by the military, do I have to remind you that our constitutional rights do not apply in military courts! Even if your suspected of such activity they can hold you indeffinately! I think someone forgot theirs a war going on!

Besides I usually drive till my little red light comes on and if all the gas stations in my city were shut down, I'd be pissed!!!!!!! I think your one thats sitting on our ass doing nothing, thinking about causing chaos in the neiborhood, and then posting such ideas, you probably have a little secret file on yourself! I know theres one on me, at least I'm not seen as a terrorist, just a drug addict!!!!!

I'm kinda confused? I don't know what you mean then, when you said "I should take my own advise?" please explain.
as for your question, here, my post is just my opinion, it is niether constructive or destructive, However, it is I would say that it is postive! And if your sitting around thinking of ways to screw with peoples lives, thats very negative! Because such an attack on the city, isn't aimed at the government, its aimed at the people! such an attack is just triing to cause problems, in every day living.

Being negative towards someone is destructive.

I don't sit around thinking of ways to screw with peoples lives.

I LOVE IDAHO.........

I LOVE THE IDAHO PEOPLE, THE IDAHO COUNTRY, THE IDAHO DESERT AND THE IDAHO MOUNTAINS........THE HOT SPRINGS AND THE LONELY BARS....

IN IDAHO YOU FIND TRULY INSPIRED PEOPLE.....WONDERFUL PEOPLE...

OK, COOL DOWN.....he's not going to actually do it, not unless you do it with him, the beauty is in the inspiration....If anyone had any sense, they would be bouncing off alternative ideas.....THE BEAUTY OF IDAHOANS is they spit it out positively....

So Idaho, I dont fancy shutting down gas stations (personally I would like to blow them all up and go back to horses...)...But I will now spend the rest of the day trying to come up with an alternative "CRAZY DAY".........And "Hell Yeah" we could do something.....

I Love you too:
Song is on the website and takes about 1 or two minutes to get going...

has nothing do to with the fact that you disagree with the thought. Disagreeing in itself is not negative.

I never agreed with shutting down a city, just said "that might work".

This is quite possibly the dumbest thread I've ever seen in these forums, and that's saying quite a lot.

Threadstarter, would it just be easier just to walk around and hit the switch? I'm certain that it would'nt take you 12-16 hours to get all around town. So really, it's just you that has'nt done anything. Abba, I agree this thread was, is, and will always be stupid. I don't even know why I posted here...What happened to you in your time-line post? I was looking forward to a good hearty argument.

i'm not sure what any of that has to do with the topic of THIS subforum. i'd get a good grin out of it if something
like that were to be done. i'm not quite ready to put my
own butt on the line to do it.
this is more a question of politics then of belief and
probably belongs there.
the thought of it happening IS good for grins though.

i wouldn't be happy to see 'homeland security' start
building death camps for dissidents under 'patriot act'
authorization, but if that stats happening anyway as it
very well might ...

and there isn't ANYthing i'd put beyond the pall of a regeme
that has yet to demonstrate ANY line it won't step beyond

so yah, if i knew we were all going to be shipped off to
some american aushwits anyway, hell yes, at the very least

the most positive thing that could happen is people stay home with family, crafts or books or they carpool wich, at the very least, is what more people should be doing anyway. they might have learned that they need more time at home and carpooling is a great idea.

what would most likely happen is people get irritated and bad vibes spread like mad. the next day everything would go back to normal but people would still be pissed that they didn't make their money or go where they "had" to go.

it would most likely just add a major hassle to everyone's day.

it would be pretty sweet if they stayed off for at least a week or so and it was nationwide, though.

...and maybe wait for summer... i live outside of town in minnesota. not having a warm pocket of transportation in below 0 degrees would be really shitty. ...talk about cabin fevor.

There's a great book b y Research called "Pranks." One of my favorite, which hurts noone is the prank called "Billboarding" where one changes a billboard in a subtle way. That's amusing.
