I don't think it's a problem. The only two unattached ones are Marie and Ron. He doesn't have anything to worry about from me.
We're friends that haven't met,yet.
Michelle doesn't mind, although I was afraid she would.... shoulda known better ;)

lol, I'll be gentler than telling him to can it :p but I'm going either way.

He gets to go where ever he wants when ever he wants and I don't question it...because I trust him.

I expect the same freedom. I've never given him reason to doubt me, I've even invited him to join us but he wants nothing to do with the whole scene, he still views us hip forumers as freaks that have no life...(I can't wait till ten years from now and most people are involved with some form of online community and it is a mainstream thing...we are on the cutting edge of the future here :) )

He does'nt talk to me, we don't do things together...and I want some friends I can relate to dammitt!!

I have the other paddle sanded and stained (it's still not very pretty though, after god only knows how long it sat on that beach undiscovered:) ) and today I'll seal it.

But I can lift it over my head, if I get done from work in time I'm going to drag it over to the local pond and see how it is :) ....'course I could just skip work :p

When Canoe thing gets to it's proper home, I've got to get back to finishing my own.
Then with a tent and a sleeping bag..... mini adventures :p

Farther along than this picture the hul is finnished and painted outside, thwarts are in. Now ihave the centerboard trunk, a couple of floors, floor boards, decks and the spars to make :)

Isn't it cool how it is all curves, sort of fits the form of a wave. it's hard for me to believe that I did that sometimes...

And a hull form can be broken down into a set of numbers, in an offset table.

Is that kinda like ratios so you can make the boat bigger or smaller using the same plans?

You can usualy change the lenght by about 10% without any trouble. Other changes star effecting all sorts of other things. I stretched this one from 14'6 to 15'6 any more and it effects stability. That's what designers are for :)
