the drunken Matador,
his flesh frame purple against the
deepening wall of vibration.

Who is playing, who is playing?
It is he, ranting sleepily
against hustle and greed.

Good poem. It avoids some of the problems of most short poems, giving us some vivid images and unusual turns of phrases with little fluff.
