What will be the first album you listen to in 2005? On what note do you want to kick off this new year?

I ended 2004 with Brian Eno's Here Come the Warm Jets, and I think I'll start off 2005 with a good, old friend: The Velvet Underground's White Light/White Heat.

I ended 2004 with Brian Eno's Here Come the Warm Jets, and I think I'll start off 2005 with a good, old friend: The Velvet Underground's White Light/White Heat.The first song I heard was Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls... on tv. :p Yet to listent to an album as I'm transitioning to my non-computer music playing systems and I'm going to fall asleep to keller williams. :p

I ended 2004 with Abbey Road, which ironically was their last album recorded... :p First cd I've listened to this year, and still the only one, is What's the Story, Morning Glory?, they are quite addictive :eek:

To answer a question that wasn't asked, I think the first album that I'll listen to that's produced in '05 will be We are the Radio by Brian Jonestown Massacre.

First album I listened to this year was The Look of Love by Diana Krall; I'd not heard her before, but the next door neighbours invited me over for a drink, and that's what was playing.

They gave me whiskey and a cigar as well, wasn't that nice of them?
