I got braces this morning. it hurts. :( not very hippie of me to complain, but it hurts so bad! i can't eat anything. i got brand new ultra-soft pita. nope. i bit a piece and my bottom teeth killed for an hour. it feels like there's a little tiny metal sock on each tooth. a little metal sock of doom. dinner:a plate of peanut butter and some cranberry juice. breakfast:where's those pills flannery had?

Yep, they suck, but I got them when I was a kid, and I lived. Try some Tylenol or something to help stop the pain.

hot salt water. I don't know the why of why it works, but it will work.
the pain sunsides after a week or two.
geez, I'm really remembering how much mine hurt. Head gear will extend the tenderness. gradually eat through the pain.
