I love this song! It was on the Tweenies today. You can listen to it here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/tweenies/songtime/songs/w/wigglywoo.shtml

And sing along with the lyrics:
There's a worm at the bottom of the garden
And his name is Wiggly Woo
There's a worm at the bottom of the garden
And all that he can do
Is wiggle all night
And wiggle all day
Whatever else the people do say
There's a worm at the bottom of the garden
And his name is Wiggly Woo
There's a worm at the bottom of the garden
And his name is Wiggly Woo
There's a worm at the bottom of the garden
And all that he can do
Is wiggle all night
And wiggle all day
Whatever else the people do say
There's a worm at the bottom of the garden
And his name is Wiggly Woo

Been thinking about this song all evening... presumably he's an ethnically Chinese worm, with a surname like Woo. And are we to assume "the people" are in some way disapproving of all the wiggling? Do you think he chooses to wiggle all day and all night, or that he genuinely can't do anything else? Why not? And why is he being persecuted if he can't help it?

What a great song! It works on so many levels.
