Anyway, I thought I'd drag back this thread since I saw him twice at Glastonbury. He was very impressive indeed! Couldn't quite believe the sound he acheived through an acoustic guitar and drum machine!

Certainly worth investigation.
Is he only on his debut album, or is there more out there?

I sawhim at Glasters too.. well of what I caould see him :p I thought he was grand.. I think he is grand anyway... That album is fantastic! Kids Don't Care was amazing live! I love him!

I started to listen to Simple Kid partly because I thought it was gonna be like the stuff on Beck's album - Mellow Gold, but also cos of the performance I saw on Jools Holland, talk about a one man band! Beat box, guitar and singing all at the same time. I think he's cool!

Glad to see the Word is Spreading about Him ,He Truely is The Best Export Ireland has Musicly at the moment ,and yes "1" is his Debut album ,saw him live in Dublin and it was Pretty Wicked ,can't wait to see what he come's up with next..be hard to top his Debut,But i have Faith in the man.
