I'm sure everyone has something they would like to sell other friendly hippies and what not. Why not have a classified section on the forum?

he's got a valid idea though but one flaw, not a 'for sale' forum but a 'for trade' or 'marketplace' type forum for exactly the reason you said on people using it to spam there site and whatnot. i mean every once and a while you can sell stuff but no making habits out of it. at shroomery that's how it works, if you wanna be able to sell you're stuff there you gotta sponser the site, i dunno how you guys wanna run this place but i assume from donations rather than paid advertising who knows? not i...
anyway i was just talking about this with another member and she agreed and i bet so would many others, i know i probably got a lot of stuff people here might be intersted in. probably take a lot of work to manage but i'm sure someone would be willing.

I would like to be able to sell my stuff without paying all the ebay fees and not making a profit... :( That makes it all seem so pointless. I work so hard. But whatever. I guess we have the classifieds. :) They just don't seem to get a lot of traffic.

Banned users can't read PM's. Non-logged in users can still read threads..this person spammed this add all over the place, figured I'd give them a BRIEF explanation as to why they cant post now.
