I have a digital weather station thingo in front. It's currently 14.8 degrees fahrenheit and falling... with gusts that would freeze your spit. :D Good news, snow is pretty much gone here with only about a half an inch. I just went outside and checked our percipitation guage thing. It's 77.2 degrees fahrenheit in my room right now. Barometric pressure is rising and the station thing predicts it will be mostly sunny... as does TWC... highs moving in. It should warm up by the end of the week... It's dropped 30 degrees here in about 10 hours. I've stayed up all night watching the weather and talking to Meg. :D Well... we got our first snow tonight in Eastern VA... looks like things are frozen out there (no shit :D). Since I typed this, it is now 14.2 degrees fahrenheit... my power has gone out twice. We got it back then lost it for another minute, then it came back for good... power companies have been up and about. My feet are freezing. :p

last year they closed every school in the state cause it was too cold to leave the go outside. i remember hearing about this guy who froze to death on the city hall steps. there wasnt even snow on the ground

I actually was dropped off at school because my mom had to work and she didn't want me to stand for the bus... They sat and waited for an hour and finally decided to send everyone home... ended up having my mom not be able to pick me up because someone went into cardiac arrest and the power kept going out at the nursing home she was at... for some reason their generators weren't working right. My principal had to take me home. All the teachers ended up bringing students home all day long.

Well, I don't see how people can stand hot weather. Its all I can do to make it through the summer and we barely make it over 85 degrees!I thought I was going to die when I went to Florida. If you're more than 10 miles from the coast and there's no tradewinds, you might as well be in Death Valley... only difference is what death valley is in heat, Florida makes up with humidity and mosquitos.
