Happy Solstice
From All of Us Here on the Farm,
To All of Our Friends, Everywhere ...
We wish you quiet times for contemplation,
Busy times for celebration,
And sick days off for recuperation.

with barks, whinnies, meows, bleats, clucks and chirrups from;
Cody, Raven, Precious, Ozzie, Yoda, Ebony, Rosemary, Sissy, Kaibab, Ylsa, Allison, and all the chickens and birds.
Christmas Eve... out in the barn... shaking out a new bale of bright yellow straw for the critters, is my most favorite time of the whole year. Even if I don't believe in a Virgin Birth, I do feel a certain affinity for the Manger Scene.
And being out there on a cold winter's night is where it's at for this old xmas crank.
