I love beards, in fact, truth be told, I definatly notice guys with beards before clean shaven ones. I don't judge based on it, but we must all agree that there is an initial look/reaction, and brothers with beards get mine.

They told us in intro psych that women base what they find attractive on their relationship with their father/primary male caregiver. So... a woman had a great relationship with her dad and he had a beard, she'll be more attracted to men with beards. If she had a bad relationship with her dad and he had a beard, she'll be more attracted to guys without beards. Personally I think that's true... I have an awesome relationship with my dad, and he's usually clean-shaven, and guys with beards usually don't do it for me. A little 5 o'clock shadow is sexy, but I hate it when it's scratchy.

I don't know about that, I have a great relationship with my dad, but he's for the most part clean shaven. He'll grow a tiny beard now and then, but never much, and I love men with beards.

of course, when I was younger he used to grow a little beard whenever he went camping or wasn't working, and when is was growing is he would rub the soft part of his cheek against mine and say "soft" and the the ruff scratchy part against my cheek and say "ruff", in silly voices, I thought it was the funniest thing ever. So I dunno, maybe that has something to do with it.

my present beard is longer than a number of people in the world beard championships and Ive only been growing it for about two years .

This was my beard a year ago ,now its about 3 inches below the nipple of my chest so you wouldnt see my teeshirt in this picture if it was taken now ,the beard in this picture is about 1 year old

I dont at present have any photos of the present beard but Im sure to take some at this years glastonbury .
there wont be a glastonbury next year .
but there is beautiful days this year and a lot of us will be going to that if you go you can meet most of us

I will be going to the big green gathering (thats the green hippie part of glastonbury festival without the big bands and glade a kind of electronic dance thing apart from glade and glastonbury they all have tickets for sale at this present time .

OK cheers for the info. I'll see if I can get a job fairly sharpish and maybe go to those. I'd heard about the glasto not being on next year. Thats a real bummer but if it lets the site regenerate then fairplay to them.
