well the american dollar has been dropping and dropping, as i understand it prices for merchandise and such have to go up, wal mart and other corps will have to price higher and higher, ppl will be able to afford less and less, also sales for holidays so far has been lower than expected, thats good too

hopefully these places will have problems and fail

but with dropping dollar its bad for consumers and good for corps other than store chains, etc.

i dont really believe that the present state has anything to do with the near or semi-near picture...depending on how you evaluate those time frames.
