put on your chapstick,
relax your face,
feel yourself shimmer
with charm and grace.
comb your fingers through your hair,
stick gum in your mouth,
try not to stare.
try not to faulter,
try not to cry,
instead look on,
now the strength is gone.
fall at her knees,
pull at her mind
your breathing won't slow
'til you stop to unwind,
undo,
unclasp,
unbuckle,
untie,
beneath all this
the truth will lie.
she's shaking while eyes glitter in the dull light
they dance uncertain,
her collar's too tight.
the tears won't stop coming and they serve to distract
from the reason you came here,
you worship this fact.
you feel hands touching you,
look up to embrace
a wavering figure grasping your face.
if you could you would move
but your body is lead,
basking in the utmost savory dread.
what is she thinking,
what will she say,
why can't words finding your lips,
what happened today?
i just wrote without thinking for as long as i could in one go, i know it's messy and a little forced but it's a first draft...
