Rastafari is not a religion because religions are businesses, run by greedy men cashing in on people's faith. Associating Rasta with such dogmatic and Babylonian systems as the Roman Catholic Church (sorry man, I know you're Catholic, nothing personal) and other religions should not be done. So, Rasta is more like a way of life, and should never to be referred to as a religion.

yes i believe in god as a catholic, although im against the church. the church now a days is corrupt, using peoples emotions and faith to force one to believe in its principles. at the same time, preists molest little boys, and somehow believe that ill follow that. i believe in god, not the church. rastafarianism, without its isms/schisms, seems pretty nice. i would rather have a way of life than a religion, but i guess that i will see what the road of my life is and then make a decision.

I am still waiting for a valid, "Babylonian" comparison to the Catholic Church.

Exactly ! And as soon as you know this then u get that "ISM, SKISM" out of the word Rastafari for we nah into that. Rastafari is no ISM and SKISM it is a way of life. It is not a religion - it is a way of life/the way of life.
