in july my company is taking its employees on a night cruise down the potomac river on a boat called the "cherry blossom" we are able to bring family members of members of our household. i am taking arianna and this is fine and dandy. but there is a certain sadness that i have to take this romantic trip w/ people i dont really know that well and my daughter that i will have to chase.

i am super excited other than that. perhaps i am just a grouch today.
but anyway. have any of you ever done a dinner cruise?

We just got back from dinner with my parents and Gabe is at that age where you have to run him down as well. You are a brave woman Marie...and I envy you not.

But guess what they get older and learn to stay and entertain themselves. My girls are finaly there and it's been a long, lonely road so I feel yeh.

I think that's really cool that you are taking her though, you could have pawned her off on someone, if you wanted me to I'd even come up and watch her for you :)

I've been on a couple one on the inner harbor of Norfolk, Va. with this awesome boy :) we were so in Love...and one down Melbourne, Fla. for a work christmas party.

It's so pretty out on the water at night, Arianna will love all the lights and the music is kinda fun.

That sounds great. I've never been on one though. When we lived on a houseboat down on the river, they would come by, music playing... we could see all the silent scenes going on.......

My brother in law was in a band whose gig was on the spirit of Washington, he loved it.:)

i know kim i am brave. but i rarely pawn her off. my mom used to do it to me all the time, and i just would rather have her with me.

i have been debating as this is a matter of her jumping ship if she gets out of line, however she will be a comfort to have there as well, as i dont really chat with anyone here
