Took me a while to figure that out... but now that I know, I've worked those two factors in a few love rituals I've done...

So has anyone else developed their own little tricks to their rituals?

Hhmm... I know a few things that turn me on.. but they're not really incense related.. Gotta pay more attention to the moon though.. I read a while back something that really made me think: "the moon causes the tides.. humans exist for 65% out of water.. do you really think the moon would have that much inpact on a vast ocean and none on us?"

I like to blend my own incenses for rituals, I will have to try a raspberry one. Sounds yummy. =)
Being an astrology nut, I really love to incorporate the current planetary energies in ritual and or spellwork to give a little added "oomph" and will decorate my altar with corresponding candles, shells, flowers, whatnot.
I don't know if this counts as a trick but one of the most powerful and beautiful rituals I attended was at Beltane, all the children present cast the circle, laughing and running to raise energy. The pure innocence that flowed from these children was something else and I don't think there was a dry eye in the circle.
