Had to post this here, it's really long, but very illuminating. He has a neat meditation at the end.

Eftya: Brilliant transparent clear white light as seen during deep contemplation.

I did not know what it was called.

I see this sometimes... it's blindingly brilliant, but so far it only peaks through like the sun through the leaves....
more often I see a soft glow like moonlite, it can be darker with my eyes open than with them closed sometimes......

Kammakadeesareh: Crown chakra. There are seven chakras, or subtle force centers connected to the major nerve plexus of the central nervous system. Chakra in Sanskrit means wheel, as the motion of these force centers can be seen as rotating wheels of energy. The crown chakra, or saraswara, is situated at the top of the head and is said to have 1008 petals which symbolize the different powers or aspects of the mind.

I wonder who sat and counted all 1008 petals...

Isn't it interesting how the religion reflects the culture that created it? India is very complex, ornate and detailed, with (i Think) more than 100 languages spoken there.
So Hinduism is just as detailed and complex, full of minutia. I get lost in the endless, unpronouncable names and classifications. Trying to put words to the wordless.
But if you unwind the crap man has created around it, you find the same truths from a slightly different perspective.

I layed awake last night trying to manualy see things in my head...it's alot harder than I thought it would be, because usually it just happens automaticaly and I don't even think about it.

Do you suppose it is a good thing to be able to see what ever you want to see when you want to see it? Does that mess up the natural flow of things?

I think if you can learn to do it then, you can undo it too. It's like trying to focus in a dream, if you try you can't, but if you intend and let go at the same time, it happens.... sorta :p
might apply to a lot of things...hmmmmm

you know what I mean..... :p

you can see things in the perrifery, but if you look directly at them, you can't see them....
keep the feeling of "not looking" while you bring them in front of you. :D

It reminds me of juggling...to be doing it properly you can't be continuously posessing or releasing the objects, so you are in a constant state of awareness and change if you want to keep the chainsaws progressing uninterupted....then when you get really good you can find someone else to juggle with:)

HoneySuckleBlue

You can call him anything you want if you clean up after him. My parrots keep me busy enough.....
He'd look good up there in the rigging :)
Can you teach him to pick pockets, (in emergencies of course)? ;)
Maybe "exploit the tourist trade" sounds better...

I'd rather exploit tourists than juggle instruments any day..if we are ever in a pinch that is ;)

Don't worry I'll teach him to fling his poo overboard at the FBI boats and pleasure craft like a good monkey.

..... might just do it! or sell the hotrodlincolm fastncheap, offer tha boatowner 20 k cash.... cause the two best days are the ones that you buy the boat, and the one you sell it... (it can take years) ;) kash and trade start looking good afer a while..

*..throws monkeyfist and heaving line.... points*
Keep an eye on 'im..... lets tack and back the jib, leave the helm over, that should bring her to. I'll row in and he can bring it back..... Some trees over there I want to look at more closely....... don't forget to pick me up again!
