For about the last 5 months I've been having feelings over a close female friend of mine. I think she knows that I might like her, I even told her. The thing is, I like guys too. And when I get hugged by girls, I get really grossed out unless it's my friend that I might like. I think I'm bi-curious...but I don't know.
I've kissed my friend before...not on purpose. Sometimes we give each other back massages and I love that. This is driving me crazy!!

just follow your heart and don't try to push a title onto yourself. i really think that by trying to push sexuality based titles onto people so much unneeded heartache is a result. love yourself, respect yourself, and don't expect to understand/title/know yourself for the benefit of a society that wishes for its population to fit into easy toi define bonxes. the world is not black and white... its a mixture of all shades and all colors.

i've just assummed the fact that i am attracted to girls as well as boys but i dont want to say I'm Bi cos i am against labels...if you like a girl, well, just go for it! just follow your heart, that's the way to go.

okay so...how I do drop hints telling her that I'm attracted to her? I don't want to say something that will totally blow my cover.

Try using the test made up by Dr. Fritz Klein. It is called The Klein Grid or the Klein Graph. Really, though listen to your heart. That is where the answer is.

I believe it's time for you to buy combat boots, get a buzz haircut, and wear flannel shirts like they are never going out of style! http://hipforums.com/forums/images/icons/newicons/icon14.gif

Speaking as one who has tried it all that does is prolong the agony & feeling that you aren't being true to yourself or anyone around you.

You could be. When you get the nerve, try stuff out, see how it goes. You might like it, you might not. You just have to try it all out.

why do you HAVE to try it out?

should i also try out murder to see if i like that too?
Fag.

What a stupid moral equivalence.

First off - I dont see why its necessary to write 'Fag' in the last reply?

In any case, Stan Grossman is not making a 'moral equivalence' and you know that.
He is making an ironic comparison to contrast the flaw in the original question.

Clearly you do not have to 'Try' something to know if its helpful, rewarding or mistaken.

I would have said "I dont need to touch a red-hot stovetop to see if its a good idea?"

I can even ask "Do I need to try Opium to see if I like the feeling it gives me.. temporarily."

Its not like we live in a Vacuum or have lost our ability to imagine, consider, anticipate and reason consquences.

So just putting some extreme irony on the question, one could be outrageous (to highlight the problem) "Do I need to 'try' murder to see if I like that too?"

How will I know if Im a Serial Killer or not unless I try?

Should I 'Try Swapping'? How will I know if I like 'Swinging' unless I do?

....

Well Im pretty sure enough people decided they did not want to hear Stans opinion and speech and now that kind of thinking is Banned from our knowledge.

Good times!

Don't you relaize that your use of Fag as a derogitory term is unacceptable?

Fag.

What a stupid moral equivalence.

you dont need to label yourself just yet...you are yuong and just starting to experience the sexual side of yourself..you will grow and learn what you like and what you dont like...dont feel the need to label yourself just do what feels right to you...you are the one that has to live with your actions and decisions...and know that you arent bi or straight but sexual and learning

peace and love

Not unacceptable, perhaps ironic, considering the circumstances.

Apprarently Irony is not 'acceptable' either.
Even when its grossly apparent.

Please refer to what thinking and speech are 'Acceptable' in this forum FJM.

Thanks
