happy sapling

takin root in the soil
a first step for everyone
before the day is done the night will come
but the moon keeps me company

'welcome home',
he spoke to me (hoooooooowl)
made me laugh and cry all in the same memory.

but i was fine,
just a growing sigh-

the spirit illuminating upon the mountian and hillside
said come to me;
defined a path right to me but said don't worry, there are many.

so sometimes i remembered
i am a burning ember.
it seems i just seem to be something quite different-
i guess the difference between the dusk and dawn is a matter of indecision.

'so now it's time to look through'
the sun said to me
as the fire roared in,

and i saw on the other side-
fire bolts and lightning balls
floating around!
and damn if it didn't make me proud to be firewood...
just like she said it would.

and so the sky changed into
amethyst,
and then the clouds blazed red,
outta control.

and i knew my time was up.
twas time to merge back to where i once was
(happily ya know).
and just to let others know my mood,
i planted a few sprouts around a blooming scarlett rose.

Faded remnants track slumbered visions
Delightful baby's decision
To evoke removal of incisions

Shall I escape the weight of the plagues
This charade of life, endless masquarade
Circle towards clear view of once future hazed

Schizophrenic first drowns then retrieves the wreckage
Still she awaits the resurrection of clay villages
