ok........i live in calvert county. the blue one on the west of the bay towards the bottom of the county and on the east side of the county.so i am definately on the bay. calvert is nestled between the bay and the river. its only 9 miles across. so there is water on both sides.

marie, it doesn't work like the same as the old forums. Copy the url of the image and then click on the "INSERT IMAGE" icon (http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/editor/insertimage.gif). Doing that will open a window where you can then paste the url. As soon as you click OK, the image will appear right where your cursor was, so pre-position the cursor.

The dangers of posting before coffee.... it was a mystery to me too. A lot of unrefined thoughts rolling around.......

The usable boat doesn't have a trailer at the moment. The bigger one that can carry 3-4 isn't finished.... But the canoe might be ready for a builders trial :)

I was thinking of being at the shore at sunrise..... mainly, walking distance and all that I guess :p

Hope for good weather this week, i've got toget some paint on her, at least primer. She's a flat bottom smooth water canoe, I guess proporly a pirogue. Can we just start now and carry on for a week :D
