A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty, he said... no. She asked him if he would want to be with her forever... and he said no. She then asked him if she were to leave, would he cry. And once again he replied with a no.
She had heard enough. As she walked away, tears streaming down her face, the boy grabbed her by the arm and said; "You're not pretty, you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever... I NEED to be with you forever. And I wouldn't cry if you walked away... I'd Die.
I like you because of who you are to me. You are a true friend....
So often we women misinterpret the things that men say to us within the bounds of intimacy. How often we punish them for being who they are... men. They think diferently than we do. They feel differently than we do... But... They love us nonetheless. Maybe even more so than we women can Ever imagine.
It has taken me almost 29 years, with the man I'm with, to decipher just how honorable and faithful a man can and will be. Just how much a man Can love with all his heart and breathe... just how much those seemingly inconsequential advances towards we women can really mean to him... how much he depends on our welcome of those advances in return.
I would like for all you women out there, today... to take a different view of the men in our lives. I would like to you view them for what they are... little boys. They are so vulnerable to our catty ways. They don't understand the games that we play them for.
Be honest with your man today, Ladies. He's only trying to give you everything you've ever wanted or needed. He's trying to love you to the best of his ability. He doesn't understand us, but he'll keep right on trying to make us happy.
Love Your Man Today, Ladies. Believe me, it's worth it in the long run... and in the short. But that little boy with the man's face is capable of great love. He does understand to the best of his ability. But he is a man. He thinks differently than we do, he behaves differently than we do also.
But, he is capable of so much love... in a man's way. We have to try to understand ourselves and our motives. Yes, we have to understand ourselves first of all, correct our misconceptions, and then make him welcomed in our hearts and souls and bodies. It's the only way to love.
