Lions clubs say they are a good group to practise leadership skills and hone your public speaking abilities and to learn finances and planning for large events.

Their motto is 'We Serve.'

They are into taking care of the enviroment, reversing and preventing blindness, they run the majority of the worlds eye banks (they are international)

...I kinda like that.

I'm thinking about going and checking them out.

I don't like churches but I do like community... Large groups of people can be a good thing when they want to be.
