Some things you just can't keep to yourself...

For the last decade I have been having strange bathroom dreams...

I'll be in a wooded labrinth only to pop out in a gym locker room in search of the lost bathroom or out side an apartment building in downtown Baltimore and having to climb up the fire escape ladder to a toilet totaly enclosed in wood...I've had at least thirty of these dreams all searching for the loo, only to find it way up near the ceiling or filled to the rim with crud...strange stuff you know?

Well Tuesday on board the Constellation my dream world crossed over into the waking world...


Monday afternoon we went to great lengths to hoist two 3/4 sized porta potties on deck of the connie and then down the hatch to the gun deck. They were the cutest little things where when you stand up just your head peeks out over the top....

Well down below they wrapped the porta potties in these brown tarps for privacy and it was very dark in there...

I seems I was the first one to use the starboard crapper and it was early in the morning. I did'nt have my light with me, so I could'nt see a thing and I had to pee like a race horse...and not thinking clearly due to lack of sleep, food or coffee I was a tad loopy and did'nt confirm everything...

So I'm in there flood gates wide open...when it hits me there is no sound of cascading...it's so dark in there and I am very disoriented, but as the spatters started down the side of the John and onto the floor all the karma I'd accumulated from seran wrapping toilets in high school came back to soak my ass!

The toilet seats were black and so were the lids...and I was totaly unsuspecting.

Oh man...it could have been way worse and luckily no one noticed, but I did have to go to the front of the ship and stand in the breeze to dry off.

Heehe even when I am getting bad karma back it all works out, like butteh:p

Unfortunately, I am gonna miss all that fun :( I keep trying to figure out ways I can make the return trip...but it's just not happening.

I would pay money to be able to see that feat though...not alot, but some:)

Bring 'em along! or at least the older one, that will cut the problem in half. You'll have the whole crew to help watch 'em. I don't think there will be as much cerimony on this trip.....

besides, you have an assigned position as a dock line handler and a pointer have to train somebody else ;)

Strange. I've been having bathroom dreams, too. And the loo is always hard to find or too crowded or too filthy (overflowing) to use. And If I get to pee in my dream, I always have to go pee again right away and start searching again. I think that I have to go pee in real life and my dreams are trying to get me to realize this and wake up. I'm always afraid that one of these days I'm going to pee in my dream and wake to find I'm wetting the bed http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/icons/newicons/icon19.gif.

I never fuss about the seat...I just gave him his own bathroom:) problem solved, lol.


I'd take the girls greg, but Gini's b~day is Sunday and so's trick or treating...can't miss that, and I could'nt make the drive after all that...How'd I get to the dock...they'd both miss another day of school (they've been out alot the last two weeks) Naaaah...as much as I want to it's just not happening. Even though I want to Sooo baaad! Gahhh!!!:$

Tarabelle that is just what my sister said too, she said she always had to pee when she had the potty dreams.

You know what was weird? The other day the seat on Rich's toilet broke when I was clipping my toe nails...when I came home from the ship, and went to use it, it pinched me. I thought I was just twitchy because of lack of sleep sometimes my nerves do that but the next day when I put my foot up there and the seat snapped it really had an impact on me because that's when all the dream images came back from the toilet dreams and I felt all the urgent Questing and frustrations of finding what i was looking for but it being unusable. I probably never would have remembered if that had'nt happened.

Yeah, I forgot about trick or treating, can't miss that!..... The plan, (as I have it) is to park in Baltimore (mebe park a car at g'moms again) and take the bus around 5:30a to annapolis and ride the ship back.
Keep the kids up all night, let them sleep in hammocks slung on the Gun Deck for the way back :D
....and I'm going to bring some hot soup and sandwiches, this time!!!

My dad gave jess his old computer for her birthday so hopefully this week I'll be able to get my pictures downloaded and cropped so's I can post 'em. (There's a really good one of the Pride of Baltimore, I want to blow it up and give it to a couple people for Christmas with some home made frames, yay two presents down:) ) I keep going back to the camera and looking at them...I can almost smell the air.
