It's stupid either way, I hope they didn't apologise for electing a fag. But it was pretty pointless. I guess now we'll have another schism. Goodie.

As far as I can tell, they haven't apologized. I know Catholic clergy have to be celibate, but I don't think that's the case with Anglicans/Episcopalians. To be really fair to the Anglicans, the people higher up are doing what they can to get everybody to sit down together and work out their differences. No, the Anglican churches aren't perfect, but they're doing a cooler and more rational thing than some other churches might have done.

Well, my congrats to the American Epsiscopilans... it's the African Anglicans thats are fucking everything up. the Big Poobah in Uganda is the one who seems to be most fucked off... but then I think he's also the one who made a statement saying there were no homosexuals in uganda and no aids... idiot.
