here i am,
alone and confused.
lost forever in the sight of the unknown,
who am i and where are you,
the darkness calls me to come forth,
where i belong.
for all i got in the end is myself.

We are all alone,
in this vastness.
We are no less,
than a part of infinity.

Sparkling stars,
set like gems,
on an obsidian sea;
Forgetful of eternal nature.

Can you see the lines,
connecting us together.
A golden thread,
in the blanket of time.

The conscious moments,
of smiling love
and depth of longing
to see our original selves.

Sometimes we feel so unseen,
wishing to trade the past
for a lingering hug.
We find what we seek.
