Hello to all of you out there! :)
For those of you who are familiar with this forum, I am the new sponsor/moderator for this Shop. I will do my best at keeping peace on the threads here, and answer any questions you might have pertaining to LED Grow Lights.
My background: I am a legal medical marijuana patient in Washington State, with several years of hydroponic growing experience. I began researching LED Grow Lights approximately 2.5 years ago, when I realized that I couldn't find a single company on the market taking development seriously. What I saw instead, were a lot of companies making exaggerated claims about what their red/blue UFO's could do, with absolutely nothing to show for it. At that point I decided to develop my own lights, and not just for any plants, but the ones that most of us grow and love. I dedicated myself to doing hundreds of hours of research, to learn everything I could about LED's and plant growth.
To design the perfect light, I first needed to find the absorption points at which marijuana converts light energy into plant energy most efficiently during photosynthesis. These peak points are at 439nm and 469nm blue, and 642nm and 667nm red. Plants also rely on Carotenoids to assist in photosynthesis, and convert more light energy for the plant. Carotenoid peak absorption points are found at 439nm and 483nm blue.
It took just over 2 years of continuous testing and development, before we had a product truly capable of matching a HID using far less watts. After several test models, using various ratios of colors and various intensities, we landed on our production series grow lights. Our lights use a combination of 440nm, 470nm, 640nm, 660nm, 740nm, and 3000k white, with a 70% red, 20% white, 10% blue ratio. We give your plants all of the light they need to carry out all levels of photosynthesis, at nearly the exact wavelength at which they convert it into energy most efficiently. We also deliver this light more efficiently to your plants, by using an intense 60 degree lens. Our concentrated beam of light, vs our competitor's wide 120 degree lens, ensures full penetration of your canopy and robust flowering unmatched by any other LED Grow Light.
You can purchase our units, or view the majority of the research and science behind our lights on our website: http://www.hydro-grow-led.com
Our business hours are Monday through Saturday, from 12pm - 8pm PST. You can contact us via phone at 360-632-8585, or via email: sales@hydro-grow-led.com
See below for the various LED Grow Lights that we offer.
