In 5 weeks I will be homeless.
We got the official notice today.
I'm acting a little psychotic cause i'm kind of laughing at this.
It has been months coming, it is a relief to finally have this shit done with.
My parents are retarded and did nothing to prevent this from happening...oh aside from "hoping for a miracle"
In order to save the house we need 10 grand, yeah right like that's happening.
So I'm going to look for a place to stay with the $100 i have in my bank.
Swell.
In a months time you may not see me for a while.
Gotta love life.

I suppose I shouldn't have bothered posting this, I mean I obviously can't compete with the drama of RT closing.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Its really awful :(
What are your parents gonna do ? Do they have a plan or something ?

Bloody hell, that's harsh. What are your parents going to do? I hope things work out for you all, really do. Are you working at the moment? Are your parents working?

You could dig a shallow grave for your parents, and use life insurance money....

Yeah, that really sounds bad.
My brother and sister in law were in the same situation and rode out the foreclosure until the bank offered them $2500 to get out. They didn't make a payment for over a year.. cause I brother in law knew someone who could create a financial miracle for them..it all worked out in the run for them cause now they are renting a nicer, larger house..anyway, dig deep and survive:D

Neither of my parents are working. They do not have a plan, Their plan for months has been to pray for a miracle. They haven't paid since April and the bank is over it. They went to court but I suppose that did nothing. We're applying for welfare. I'm not really working, my current job isn't allowing me to work. I get one shift a week tops and that makes maybe $50/ $100 at most. My boss is a little shit head. My parents do not have life insurance so that means nothing Dave. My plan for tonight is to get drunk.
I think I can find a sugar daddy in 5 weeks...Or possibly a pimp.

I got evicted, it sucks. I'm very sorry for you. I at least had a friend to move in with. You know, I always here of squatters rights, but I have no idea what it is, or how it is applied, anybody know?

It's your parents fault!

I agree with Cherea.
When I was kicked out of home in my late teens, I stayed at friends' houses while looking for a new job and a place to live. Applying for welfare earned me a small loan to pay the deposit on a room in a shared house, as well as enough money every week to pay rent and buy a little food while I was unemployed.
Is the welfare system in Canada good, or can you find friends or relatives to stay with?
It sucks that this had to happen :(. Maybe getting away from your parents will give you a chance to get a new start at things.

I'd say you should come over here and live with us til you find a job, but I think a bus ticket from TO to S'toon is like $200ish, plus tax

thats sweet k
i don't know if cherea is being sarcastic or not...
it really is my parents fault, i've given them money and they fucked up
i have no idea how the welfare system is, i've never had to claim it before now
i'm hung over, last night was fun
i honestly have no idea what i'm going to do, i could probably go out to montreal, this could be my excuse to finally do that
i'm pretty sure my grandfather would take me in
i've already paid for my entire gym membership, i have no idea how i'm going to deal with that
i'm going to need to start packing...that's terrifying

So here's the update for anyone that may or may not care, I'm going to be moving in with my relatives in Montreal. My parents are going to do whatever tey do, which from the looks of it is nothing. My older brother has a place with his girlfriend and my little brother is going to stay with friends until he can get his own place. I will be moving to a new city where I will know no one aside from 5 people that I am related to, I do not have a job there and I do not speak fluent french. I also pretty much have to leave everything I have ever owned because until I get a job, save up money and find a place of my own I will be living in a closet sized room. Awesome. It's terrifying and very exciting and happening within a few weeks span. I have so much to do, such little time to do it in and everything closes so early around here.
At least I'm not going to be homeless :)

I'm glad to hear that you will not be homeless. As for the other things, I am sure they will work themselves out. You may end up really enjoying this experience. Good luck.

And how would I have gotten to Thailand?
As I have stated, I have $100 to my name.
That won't get me very far, my uncle is supposed to come here and pick me up or pay for my train ticket.

I'm not a winter person but it is nice to snuggle up in a warm bed during the cold.
To me, as some body who knows very little about Canada, Montreal sounds really cool. I'm sure after the initial difficulties of settling in, you'll love it there.
