urgent info needed

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if MJ is considered CRIMINAL behavoir (in canada, Saskatchewan specifically) or if its just considered illegal, I am quite sure there is a differance. Like Jay Walking is illegal but its not criminal.. get what I mean?
THe job I am applying for says you must be 3 years free of CRIMINAL behavoir... I have smoked pot a few times in the last 3 years, never possed it, sold it or bought it...
what do you think?? Criminal- illegal --- no differance??

What I failed to mention is that there is a lie detector exam, so you dont know the answer I take it?
I think its weird, NO one knows this answer, and any internet searches I have done I only find OLD info.
