I know they are just gonna offer to extend my probation, but I think Im gonna take the jail time, probation is a fucking trap, its a set-up, specifically set up so you violate over some stupid shit.

Of course it depends on what the state attorney offers, but Im thinking I rather do 2-3 months in jail than an extra year of probation.

Hey man, so I'm going to answer your question even though it wasn't directed at me. I haven't ever been able to get ahold of the big K. I got offered it when I lived in London but at the time I didn't know what the fuck it was and said no.

I definitely have used DXM, mostly as an opiate potentiating drug, but a few times on its own as well.

My experience with DXM was this strange melty world that didn't freeze frame the way my hallucinatory states tend to do, but instead seemed to slip and slide around like a slab of butter in a hot pan. I would look left and slowly my vision would catch up, but it would speed up as I slowed my head motion down. It was pretty interesting.

I also had a sort of out of body experience on DXM, probably cause I forgot how much I'd taken and overdid my dose. I am a pretty small guy and only need about 150-200mg of DXM to feel fucked up, and I thought I'd take 100mg but really I'd taken 200mg and I added another 100, bringing me to 300mg. WHOA. I ended up getting sick that night cause I went into some crazy world where up was down and I had MAD vertigo. But the beginning of the trip was an exploration in motion, I felt that everything I did was somehow stronger, my motions were faster, and the world was definitely slower. I played some Halo with a friend that night: to clarify - I suck at Halo and never play it. But that night my friend said I was so fast it was like matrix shit. I was running around killing him and dodging people coming at me with rockets and shit. You know the slo-mo effect. Pretty cool. Bad ending to the night, but some good effects for something you get from the local drugstore.

Ketamine is in excess over here in the UK, and frankly, it's ruining the illegal party scene, which used to be full of nice people out to get dirty and stompin' to filthy tekno music (Erowid reports lead me to believe that some people in the US refer to just about any electronic music as 'techno', which I have to say is BULLCRAP lol).

Now parties are frequented by incoherent, mumbling morons stumbling about with polo-noses who'll bump into you, spill your beer, and then you gotta help them get up off the ground!

Of course I've had my K phase, a few years back, and I'll only rarely do it now (be careful combining ket with opiates, it can make you sick pretty easy, and I have a strong stomach).

Compared to DXM it's less 'otherworldly' unless you do biiiig doses. Little lines of K are just like having a few drinks and feeling a bit spacy. Once you start holing, you won't be able to walk, and everything becomes very emotionally distant and confusing. It's interesting, because there aren't 'visuals' as such, but everything looks 'different'.

...just don't be a douche and overdo it at a rave. ;)

i'd say the biggest difference comes from the different ROA; K lasts about 1.5 hours TOPS, while DXM can have you shpongled for 6+ hours . . .

I've never taken pure DXM, only in cough syrup or geltabs (where it was the only medicinal ingredient), and those have always come with *extreme* diarrhea, and later on through my use, severe itchy skin and internal organ pain. Needless to say I don't do it anymore, I can tell my body isn't a fan. Which is a shame because the DXM high is actually better than the Ketamine high IME.

Ketamine is fantastic because its so easy and cheap. I mean you can just do bumps all night and be at a GREAT + or ++ for hours and hours and really not have any side effects whatsoever except slight anaesthesia. DXM was much more "hallucinogenic" from my recollections, but I really would have to do it again recently to give that a fair statement, and I won't be touching DXM again unless I can get it as a pure powder.

Ketamine is like DXM-light in my opinion. Shorter, weaker, less side effects. Definetely worth trying if you ever find a seller, just grab a .5 g and explore a bump, a line, and a rail. K-holing is really cool too, you will never, ever forget that first time you snort that line of white powder up your nose and go from sober to plateau 4 in 20 minutes. It's a hell of a ride.

Ketamine is also *very addictive*. It's just so fun and easy :)

but I'm done with K now. I realize its not what im looking for in a drug, even though its a hell of a drug. Also, some people get devastating bladder, bowl, and penis pain after long term use of K, which does not go away ever. Pretty shitty thing to have to pay for just a dissociative habit!

It's also funny that this is now such a club drug. I have thought about this a lot, and I have concluded that its purely, as I said, how cheap and easy it is. Ketamine is obviously completely against the nature of anything remotely like a party or club, since its all about shutting down your body, turning off your view of the world, and letting you explore the gentle waves of your mind. Strange stuff, it'd be like serving DiPT (fucks up your hearing) at a club. Strange social behaviours. Guess its just easier to spend 40$ on a gram of K that lasts you a week than 40$ on a .5 or gram of coke that lasts you all of 2 lines lol.
