my benzo problens

so im not quite a hippie im 47 so ten years younger than the counter culture hippie but ive had dealings with real hippies especially when i was 20 and ny girlfriend was 33 and she was a major dealer and a met true hippies thru her-0-sadly most died off but i learned alot--so my recent thing is benzos it not even really recent i had ludes all the barbs reds rainbows blue devils and yellow jackets----but ive ben abusind xanax kpin halcion and alcohol--im really pretty careful using about 10daysa month so i have 20 days to clean up----do you think this a good theory--ive already done the herion methadone thing and i dont want to go thru WD.s again which i hear benzo WD is as bad or worse than herion---and back in the reds and wine days our people were dropping like flies and a saw monster tolerances 25 reds a day for instance but i was too young to get that bad a habit just curious what u think of my ten day on 20 day off benzo habit--and wheni say 10 days on im like am old lude head fallimg om my ass and breaking things all over the place--not violent just clumsy---but i lovemy downers they raelly help me through the month--any comments advice-----ps dont tell me to quit itll just fall on deaf ears

Withdrawing from benzo's will be the worst freaking few weeks in your life, but you will thank yourself for going through it once you're clean. I agree with getting professional help. You can seizure if you stop cold turkey and you've been taking a strong daily dose.

wow i must of wrote all that while xanaxed out ---cas my spelling is really bad in that post-- but i dont have any plans to quit and the hippies i still know hate drugs now just weed for them so i cant even talk to them cas its just lecture after lecture and yeah my name comes from Felix the Cat---how old R u? thats when cartoons were in black n white--lol

I don't think you will have too much of a problem. I've been through the ropes as a heroin user and I understand the pain and misery of withdrawal as well as the blissful apathy and euphoric nirvana one feels while using. My experience with drugs isn't limited to opiates, however, as I've been into the scene of nearly ever major drug in existence, albeit speed and cocaine as I never did much like anything that made my heart race.

I used benzos before to aid in a self detox from heroin with decent results. They do help the withdrawals to some degree. When I finally stopped the heroin, I found myself having to spend even more time detoxing from the benzos. Fortunately, it wasn't nearly as bad as the opiate withdrawals. It was mainly, for me, more of a mental sort of kick. Insomnia, anxiety, depression, loss of appetite - that kind of thing. No where near the pain of heroin withdrawal where all you can do is curl up in the fetal position and cry like a baby.

Good luck with the detox. Try and relax if at all possible. Reading and music always use to help me. The less you focus on the fact you're coming down, the easier it will be. Hope I was of some assistance to you.
