ok so yesterday my buddy who i would get high with all the time got out of rehab yesterday and he made me think, its not worth it, how much we spend, the shady people we go through, being sick when u aint got it, so ill be using sparingly now, were gonna save it as a "treat".

i been using opiates only a handful of times a year, if that, for about 15 years. usually just smoked opium, once or twice or a dozen times a year. thats really the only way to go about using opium. if its a daily thing, or a weekly thing, you wont last long.

thats what its about spens. Just look at does2's Opiates thread. The first sentence.

because its almost impossible to be an everyday regular user for that long without running into a methaphorical wall. whether it be addiction, ODing, financial issues, legal issues, anything.

Thats why I only use once in a while, and I bet I can keep this up until I decide to stop (if I do).

I've cut back dramatically. Recently I was taking opiates like every day - now I cut back to about 2 times a week and the experience is much more enjoyable now.

hell just to fuck around i was able to chip herion for ten years b4 i got addicted--weekends only--finally got hooked--quit--hooked like that for about another ten years now i just get a monthly supply of vikes that i take in a week plus the occasional 60mg ir morphine--which i love so im an old school drug addict with no plans to quit---happy opiation

i have stopped before, or at least cut my addiction off completely to where i do it a few times a week.. but the worst part of it is.. my friends and some of my family do opiates, so no matter what i will be around it, and i always end up getting sucked back into the opiate euphoria.. its depressing

im not quitting persay, my hook up whose on of my best friends went to rehab just got out monday and says he feels great being sober, but ya cant just stop doin opiates when u can get em so easy.

but yeah as i said we are going to use sparingly, at least me, i cant speak for him as hes a pathologhical liar and a huge feind, hopefully hes right and rehab helped because his attitude is better now.
