a hot rail is this new thing I found out about the other day.. its the newest junkie fad for 2009.

Anyways, you proceed by getting a long glass tube and heat one end with a torch. Then you use it to snort up your line, which in essence burns the chemical you're also inhaling so you not only get a line in your nostril but you also inhale a bunch of smoke from said substance.

It's the grossest thing ever if you ask me but I don't know if it's much worse than sticking drugs up your ass...

where would one get the necessary supplies to conduct a "hot rail" experiment? I saw some methhead on intervention do this shit, and I think it might work just great with some heroin. Granted heroin is essentially morphine based but I still think it would work.

I don't get it. If you want to inhale the smoke from an opiate, smoke it. If you wanna snort it, get it up ya nose (at room temperature, as god intended :p). If you want both, do one followed swiftly by the other. Think how small your nostrils are. Then half that, as you're only using one. Then half it again seeing as how you have a bunch of powder going up there at the same time.

Waste of time, waste of smoke. Surely.
