it is pig guts stuffed with oats, spices, and meat then boiled.
when i went to scotland for the first time, and i ordered "pudding" that is what i got... stuffed pig guts!
it ain't what we call "pudding" here in the u.s.a.!
really, really damn good tasting stuffed pig guts though!
so, yeah, in the u.k. you can have your meat and pudding at the same time.

here`s the thing that irritates me to no end about what`s has been considered "cool" for a long time. & unfortunately time has a way of change. it`s the notion of "ya gotta be uneducated" cuz education is for & from "da man". this is not only ridiculous, it`s also dangerous. timothy leary`s tune in turn on drop out was mis-interpreted. dropping out doesn`t mean an end to all education. unfortunately there has never been an addendum to this, & of course other things. it all kinda ended abruptly. it really did. & what are we supposed to be tuning in to? this thing called nirvana? turning on is prettymuch the same thing. & "free love", that`s produced illegitimate children, xenophobia, wandering, etc..

dropping out doesn`t mean an end to all education. what is your defintion of education? you can educate yourself in many ways. The education you get from school, where they teach you math and history, or is it education you get from living, learning how things are done as you go through life? Education doesn't mean by textbook.. not that you said it did.

some of the most important things to learn are: disipline, humility, self-sufficiency. i`m sure i`m leaving some out. so please add. #1 teaches you to respect yourself, therefore one can respect others. #2 is a way to refine & define #1. sometimes folks can have too much of #1. & then sometimes #2 makes someone appear weak. #2 should be applied only where indivduals respect &/or understand it. i think one of the greatest inventions of the literary world is cliff`s notes. though some would argue to the contrary. cliff`s notes especially work better for today than they did in the past, in that @least SOMETHING is read, rather than a boring nothing, as i`ve often seen. & there are many variations on cliff`s notes. like films for instance. or plays, but plays may be seen as "gay" to some.

some religion, i can`t remember which holds love wisdom & power to be 3 important things.

there`s a kinda old book from the 70`s called the fourth way. & there`s an excellent example of this in one of the Billy Jack films. about when billy gets bit by the snake in the vision quest.
but i wouldn`t`ve learned any of this if i hadn`t read something to begin with. i started reading when i was about 4 yrs old, not just children`s books.
