I must have spilled some dye last night, because there is a huge red dye spot and some blue splatters. they are dry on a hardwood floor. i need to get it out fast before my parents find out!!
How can i get these out??

Oh my! Well you could use bleach but you would have to be very careful to apply baking soda as soon as the stained wood becomes the same color as the other wood, then wash the soda off with plain water. To finish, wash with Murphy's Oil Soap or something that will put the moisture back in the wood. I can't guarentee that this will work but it's what I would do.

use any cleanser that would get it out...maybe bleach, then re-stiann the wood. if that doesnt work then idk..... but id try hippiestead's idea first

Sorry man, but I think you're up shit creek without a paddle. Just own up and face the consequences. A rug's a good idea but it will only delay the inevitable unless no-one cleans the house. Good luck! Grovelling's not to shameful a thing to do

I just noticed the date of your post. Bit late with the advice. How did it go?
