help me get benzos!!

ok first off let me say i am not a drug addict or seeker in anyway, benzos benefit me, im always tense, on edge ,nervous and stressed, so whenever i take a football im fine and com pletley good.

so i have a doctors aapt thursday, i dont really have GAD persay but i do get panic attacks and anxiety episodes. so my ? is what kind of things should i say to the doctor to get benzos.

i am going to see him to get medication for depression / anxiety

if you really have all those things then just tell him symptoms honestly and he will give you something that helps. and if it's not benzos, well, maybe its worth trying.

why do you assume only benzos will help?

I am gonna see about getting some benzos too, because I have anxiety problems. I will refuse if the doc tries to give me some SSRI's or SNRI's though, because I don't want to lose my ability to trip. lol

benzos dont have as many nasty side effects when used RESPONSIBLY. other meds like SSRI's & MAOI's can cause bullshit like sexual impotence and as well as inability to enjoy recreational chemicals without 2 week advanced notice or so depending on metabolism. no one likes a limp dick or dry cunt. . .

I used to be prescribed Xanax. I just told them the honest truth. It sucks though because after a while they stopped giving them to me and they wanted to keep me on anti-depression medicine (SSRIs) for a while. I would suggest not taking SSRIs - they fuck with your head too much. Made me feel all weird, especially when I would miss a dose.

yeah like mr.writer said tell him the truth about what's happening with you. if you need drugs to help you out then you'll likely get them, and if your symptoms aren't severe, then you probably don't need them.

just, be careful about convincing yourself you need something which you might not *need*.

I went to see the doctor about my anxiety and He gave me a book on cognitive therapy, It was very lame..... didn't help at all. I might have to go back in soon.

I'm going to see a doctor on May 26. I don't have insurance though, so I'm going to see a doc through DHR, which means they don't prescribe benzos. I will refuse if he/she tries to prescribe me some SSRI's or SNRI's though. I just want to be evaluated and find out what's wrong with me, then I'll go to a regular doctor with my diagnosis and see what I can get, if anything.

I went to the doctor last week to quit smoking (actually went to get chantix) He asked me what triggered me to smoke. I told him stress at work/home. He gave me some survey to fill out, it asked all kinds of questions. Anyways I walked out with a scrip of Klonopin.

i took it for a couple days, and i noticed it made me not have emotions, not really helping my depression just numbing it, also changes in sleep patterns, ill take forever to pass out and then ill sleep 2 hours wake up, sleep 3 hours, wake up too early cant fall back asleep and i feel tired all throuhg out the day.

Yeh i found when i was taking them id sleep for like 12-14 hours some days wake up and feel very hazy and still tired. As for the numbing of the depression thats exactly how i felt on it too, no emotion etc.
