I did today for someone who was having a heart attack..I have probably called 911 about 4 or 5 times and they were all legit..when I called today, the paramedics from the fire department were there in about 6 minutes..the ambulance and the EMT's were about 4 minutes later..good response time..

Never, not even 999. ;)

My friend was telling me today about how she had to call the number, it was for a little boy who fell off a rock or something and smashed his neck. Owwie.

Once.
I was sitting in my mom's car warming it up for her drive to work at 6 am. I was sitting with the door open, one foot in the car, one on the ground outside. it was right before dawn, so it was still kinda dark.
A car rammed into the back of this car I was sitting in, pushed it about 3 feet. the driver bolted. My leg was squished by the door and my neck hurt a bit.
I limped inside and found the skin was broken, and a piece of skin about two inches long was hanging off my shin. blood pouring down my leg. My mom didnt speak any english then, my sister refused to call because back then she was really shy about speaking to people in english, so I had to call. I didnt want to, but my mom insisted.
they carted me off, bandaged my shit up, gave me a neckbrace, some pills and I went home.

once accidentally. i was trying to dial out from my college dorm, and the instructions stated "dial 9, then 1, then the number." well, the number was a 1-800 number, so i dialed 9, then 1, then started 1-800 but was interrupted by emergency services...

i did once let someone else call 911 on my cell phone when i was leaving my high school parking lot and there was a guy having a heart attack at the ice cream stand next door.

No, I don't believe I have ever called 911. I've called directly to the police though several times. :D Very slow response time, then again, they weren't really emergency situations, sooo...

I accidently dialed 911 as it was floating in my pocket once..I am not sure how, all I heard was "911, state your emergency"..I just hung up

No.!! And If I Did It Would Take Sooo Long For Help To Arrive, The Person

Would Be Long Dead..

Why (i hear you ask)..??

Well (i reply), Here In Orstralia We Use OOO (tripple o ), And If I Was To

Demand A Response From 911, It Would Mean A 25 Hour Air Trip Over

Here, Then A Half Hour Air Trip To My Place.

So As You Can See, I'd Be Well And Truly "Cold" By Then...:D.

Cheers Glen.
