Mixing with alcohol

How bad is it to mix xanax with alcohol? Does anyone do it? Im assuming that a glass or two of wine with xanax isnt terrible, but what about getting shitfaced? lethal? or will it just make you really sick?
OR if you mix a lot of alcohol with a low dose like 1-2mg xanax, is that usually ok?

I've actually mix benzos, wine, and painkillers a great deal :o I'm sure the combination of the three is also 'really bad for you'.. but again, I'm still alive.

I'd say don't overdo it, especially if you have no tolerence to xanax whatsoever. plus, if you get TOO drunk or take too much xanax you'll just end up waking up the next morning like... wait, what?

you should be okay with a low dosage a just a few drinks. over do it on either and prepare to wake up in jail or the hospital.

I wouldn't recommend high amounts of either of them, if you plan on mixing, but a little bit of each won't hurt.

I'm surprised I'm still alive after mixing large amounts of xanax with large amounts of liquor. lol I should've been dead years ago.

did it make you very sick?? (vomiting?)No, not really. Even if it did, the benzo/alcohol combination, at high amounts, poses much higher risk than just vomitting, depending on the dosage. Most deaths involving xanax involve alcohol and/or opiates.

That being said, I once ate 8mg of xanax and drank 750ml of vodka, but no, I didn't puke. lol I've done some stupid shit with xanax though. Even if it wasn't dangerous, that's just a waste of xanax and alcohol, because at that point, you're too far gone to even enjoy it.

A couple of glasses of wine and 1-2mg of xanax will not cause any problems though, and you probably won't puke.

i was wondering more about drinking a lot (like getting hammered) and mixing it with a lower dosage of xanax, because that is mostly likely what would end up happening. thanks for your input - i will try to take it slowly

Regardless as to how much you drink, I'm sure you'll be fine if you only take 1-2mg of xanax.
